The Project Management for Small Businesses workshop outlines a project management process that can be used to plan, organize and manage projects to their successful completion. The workshop covers the basics of project management including how to use a statement of work, work breakdown structure, cost estimating, scheduling and problem solving to launch and complete a project whether it is large or small. Improving your project management skills will benefit you by improving your ability to successfully complete projects on time with accuracy and efficiency.

 

Follow the instructions below to access this workshop:
 1. Go to http://www.mainesbdc.org/train_register.cfm?group=407572
 2. Complete the form to create a log in (or sign in if you have already registered with a log in for a Maine SBDC online workshop).
 3. You will receive a UserID and password. Keep this information for future use.
 4. On the registration confirmation page, choose "Click Here" to log in.
 5. Under "Training I'm Enrolled In", click "OPEN" next to "Connecting with Contractors".
 6. Click "OPEN" again (under Curriculum Contents) to start the module.
 7. You may stop the presentation at any time and return to it at another time using your log in.
 8. When you are finished with the workshop, please click the link at the top of the last slide to complete a short survey about your experience with this workshop.
