Information Technology Support

DBE Supportive Services staff are available to help DBEs in developing their capability to utilize technology in all aspects of their business.  Staff can provide one-on-one assistance with questions related to hardware, software, social media, and any related training opportunities.

Supportive Services staff can assist DBEs through a sponsored internship opportunity with the University of Maine Augusta’s Computer Information Systems department.  DBE firms have the opportunity to create or update a corporate web presence, upgrade or install an office network, or complete other IT-related projects depending on individual needs and available skills.  Supportive Services staff provide supervision and project management, while UMA provides work space for the intern.  There is no cost to the DBE firm.
